UK schools

Each year schools in the UK help us raise money for our schools in Uganda. Individual schools also link with our Ugandan schools so that children in the UK and Uganda can share experiences and develop greater understanding of different cultures by exchanging letters and messages.

In the past, schools in the UK have made donations of surplus uniform, educational resources, books and equipment. Some teachers from the UK have visited our schools in Uganda to share experiences and help enrich the curriculum.

Through Inspire Worldwide, a group of students stayed for five-nights in Namakoko in the Autumn of 2019, to assist with a project to create a kitchen garden, build a shelter for the nightwatchman and expand the kitchen area. The pictures on this page were taken on that trip and to find out more how they got on, take a look at the Radnor House blog - https://radnor-house-2019.blogspot.com/

We are always on the look out for more UK schools who want to get involved with our work. If you would like to discuss this further or arrange for a talk by one of our trustees contact anne@projectlemonde.org.uk.
